Swift Innovations Secures Funding from NRC IRAP for Plant Antioxidant Research Project

Swift Innovations’ latest research initiative aims to harness the potent antioxidants found in select Alberta plant species, including kale, purslane, wild rose, and lettuce. These indigenous plants are renowned for their rich antioxidant content, which holds immense potential for skin health and rejuvenation.

Project Objectives

The primary objectives of this research project include:
  • Antioxidant Blend Development: Swift Innovations will create new antioxidant blends from Alberta’s native plants for better skincare.
  • Micro-emulsification: The antioxidants will be expertly made into skincare-friendly preparations through micro-emulsification.
  • Optimization and Stabilization: The project will optimize and stabilize the antioxidant blend to maximize efficacy and durability by experimenting with various combinations.
