Here’s How It Works
It all starts with a conversation. We schedule a discovery call to understand your product goals, brand vision, and expectations.
This helps us identify whether your project requires a custom cosmetic formulation or can leverage one of our existing bases.
After the call, we share a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a New Product Development (NPD) form for each product.
Once you complete and return these, we provide a costing estimate and timeline.
Based on your inputs, our R&D team prepares a customized approach note outlining our development plan, ingredient direction, and formulation path.
Once you review, approve, and sign off, we begin the formulation process.
Our lab typically takes 5–6 weeks to deliver your first lab sample.
If an ingredient is in short supply or needs to be sourced from outside North America, timelines may extend slightly — but we always keep our clients informed.
Once your first sample is shipped, you’ll have time to test it thoroughly — assessing texture, viscosity, fragrance, efficacy, and overall performance.
If adjustments are needed, our team works on refinements based on your feedback.
Each iteration typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on complexity.

Our manufacturing calendar is generally booked 8–10 weeks in advance, so we plan accordingly.
When production begins, we scale up carefully to maintain consistency with the approved lab sample.
Our Alberta-based GMP facility manages everything in-house: filling, capping, labelling, batch coding, and final assembly, ensuring every unit meets our exacting quality standards before shipping.
