We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Operations to oversee logistics, supply chain coordination, and administrative tasks.
Job Description: Assistant Manager – Operations
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Oversight: Oversee daily logistics and supply chain management, ensuring timely product delivery by coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to maintain seamless operations.
  • Order Processing: Receive and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Invoice Tracking: Issue and track sales transaction invoices while maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  • Administrative Support: Support the sales department with administrative tasks, including document management, data entry, and preparing reports.
  • Inventory Management: Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources and maintain appropriate inventory levels (min/max).
  • Periodic Inventory Counts: Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile stockroom items to ensure proper identification and re-supply needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service in person and over the phone, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and coordinating local events, as required.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and welcoming visitors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in sales support, supply chain, or office management is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to draft professional emails and handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Company: Swift Innovations Inc.
Pay: $35,000 to $45,000 per year
Schedule: 5 days a week, with weekend work as needed
Licence/Certification: Driver’s license (required)
Work Location: In person
