1) EXERCISE: We all know exercise can alter your mood and the way you feel about yourself drastically. The biggest challenge is to get motivated to get moving! The next time you need a pick-me-up, pick your favorite activity that will physically challenge you. You will not only feel amazing but your body will thank you for it!
2) CONNECT WITH OTHER WOMEN: Studies have shown that women live longer because they are more social than men. We think it has to do with being understood by our girlfriends! Women play so many roles and can only be understood by other women. It’s nice to be able to relate to people that have similar goals and troubles.
3) TAKING OUT TIME FOR THEMSELVES: Easier said than done right? I know, we all have busy schedules and sometimes we do end up putting ourselves last! Set the refresh button on your health and mind by taking some ‘Me Time’ out for you. It’s really not selfish; in fact, you will be more energized and happy to do the things that you need to!
4) KNOWING WHEN TO SAY YES: We all almost been put into situations that would require us to take a chance and get out of our comfort zone. We often just shy away from the situation and then wonder what it would have been like later. Happy women trust themselves and take ‘safe’ chances to see what they are really capable of. You may surprise yourself!
5) KNOWING WHEN TO SAY NO: Equating the word “NO” with disappointing others could be the reason why your hands are always tied. It’s okay to say no when you have too much on your plate.
